How to manage and view shop orders

When a customer places an order on your online shop an order will be created in your ecommerce system. You can then view/edit the information of this order and change it's status if necessary. For example if a customer places an order for a product that needs to be shipped you may want to update the order that the item has been sent so the customer can be automatically notified.
As well as viewing orders in the backend, you will also be sent an order email.
  1. In the main menu go to Shop/eCommerce and then Orders.
  2. You will now see a listing of all orders, you can either click on an order number to see more information on that order, or check the checkbox next to the order and then in the dropdown above and below the table you can undertake a quick action (like change the order status) and then click the Apply button.

On the Order detail screen (pictured below), you can see information about the order including its status and the details of the customer at the top. Below this it has the product details of the order. You will also notice in this section a Refund button which can be used if you need to refund a payment. Then in the right sidebar you can perform quick actions on the order which includes resending order emails. Just below this you will see a history section of the order, you can also add a private note on the order or send a note to a customer.
